"Ok, cool...but what do I wear?"

Keep Scrolling

style guide

It can be hard to know what to wear to your session – and even harder to plan for your partner or family members. This guide is meant to be a simple inventory of tips for planning your outfits.

Everything from color palettes to coordination – I've got your back!

NEUTRALs = YES!

Neutral colors offer you versatility when it comes to the backdrops chosen for your photos. Because neutral colors are evident in nearly every landscape or outdoor venue, you'll always be coordinated.

TIPS FOR PATTERNS

Patterns are great – plaid, flannel, polka dots – but be wise about how you match them. My suggestion for couples/family portraits is to NOT be matchy-matchy. If you insist on a pattern, have one person rock that pattern and everyone else's outfits complement it (with a solid-colored matching garment or patterned accessory)

Pick A CENTRAL COLOR

Rule of thumb: Choose the color you think looks best on all parties and build your outfits from there.
